Society is constantly looking for evidence that education is working.
Many scrutinize state assessment scores; however, Service Learning
provides concrete evidence that students are involved with education
and using that education for the betterment of the community. Service
learning can provide evidence of the growth, not only academically
but civically as students become participating members of the community
in which they live.
